The best way to do Las Vegas is to get in and get out, LOL! A city with no sense of time is dangerous, but if done right, can be TONS of fun. So, when we got word that Usher extended his My Way: The Las Vegas Residency for the second time, we didn't hesistate to grab tickets. We chose one of the Labor Day Weekend 2022 shows and curated our girls trip around it.
The Hotel(s)
To make the most of the weekend, we decided to split our stay between two hotels: Park MGM and the ultra-luxe, Cosmopolitian. This provided different experiences AND we saved a little coin.. Smart, right?!
We flew into Vegas the morning of the Usher concert and checked into our first hotel stay of the weekend, Park MGM (Park). [Dolby Theatre, Park MGM is the location of said concert.] The hotel was about a 7-minute Uber ride from Harry Reid International, which is clutch!
Park is posh and boutique-like. Easy to navigate and check-in was smooth. All rooms here have a color theme - ours boasted bold, red walls and a red sofa. Very Vegas, lol. We also had a Strip view.
The morning after the concert, we checked into the Cosmospolitian Las Vegas Hotel (Cosmo) Hotel. Listen, the Cosmo is an experience. Even the lobby is an event. We can't put into words how massive this place is. It can be overwhelming if you're not paying attention.
The room was beautiful, modern and swanky.

Usher: My Way The Las Vegas Residency took place at Dolby Theater inside Park MGM. We can't even call it a concert, it's an EXPERIENCE. We'll go out on a limb and say it's the best residency Vegas ever hosted. The show's so popular that Usher has added shows well into 2023. Barker Tip: It's best to stay at the Park MGM for the concert to avoid traffic and a long wait in line. A short walk through the hotel's casino, and you'll run right into the Dolby Theater.

Located inside the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Hotel, THE CHANDELIER BAR comprises three levels and dons a purple hue with millions of crystals. There’s no way you can miss it. The Chandelier Bar is the heartbeat of the Cosmo, so getting a drink at one of the three bars or to simply people-watch, nothing's short of a good time.
