EATING MEMPHIS.

Updated: Apr 21

The Hubby and I ditched the dramatic approach to celebrate our anniversary somewhere far, far away and decided on a road trip. We took an extended weekend to good ole Memphis, TN. Southern hospitality is like none other, especially when it comes to the FOOD. Nothing beats it! Itinerary aside, cuisine and libations were the real plans. So from one Foodie to another, I compiled a short list of 6 spots for your dine-and-drink experiences.

Note: No BBQ is found on this list, lol.

For The Gram

Created by artists Damon Lamar Reed and Pugs Atomz, The Sound of Memphis Mural (2016) is one of the many iconic murals and public art across Memphis. We happened upon The Sound of Memphis while heading to brunch at Blind Bear, and it is the perfect spot for an Instagram-able flick.

The Mural pays tribute to famous Memphis icons and locations. You can find The Sound of Memphis Mural on Main Street next to the old Yao's Chinese Bistro, 113 S Main Street.
